Project Overview
I collaborated with a diverse group of public health practitioners, government agencies, nonprofit leaders, and community-based organizations to develop this national guidance on administrative equity. My role focused on embedding equity as a core principle—not just in language, but in the operational systems that drive public health. Together, we reworked the structures of hiring, contracting, and finance to center justice, transparency, and access, particularly for organizations historically excluded from funding and decision-making. The final published guidance offers practical tools and frameworks for agencies nationwide to operationalize equity in day-to-day administration.
